Welcome to Hamptons Hippie!

We are Allan B. Simmons and Sarah E. Phelps, AKA “the Phelpsimmons”—a husband-and-wife design duo who traded the concrete for the coast. After a combned total of over 50 years of experience working in the New York fashion industry as apparel designers & graphic artists for such brands as Tommy Hilfiger, Lucky Brand, Levi’s, Gretchen Scott, Bonobos, Dee Ocleppo, Nautica, J. Crew & Ralph Lauren to name a few, we’ve found our bliss at HHHQ “Blue Acres”, our cute little smurf house by the sea.

Our brand, Hamptons Hippie, is inspired by of our colorful coastal life. Celebrating our new favorite pastimes: walking our dogs in the salty air, seashell & beach glass hunting, the thrill of a unique antique find, hitting the newest restaurant in town or grilling/chilling on our deck & basking in all the fun that Long Island’s East End has to offer— our collection of apparel and home goods is fueled by one simple mission: to make people smile. After all, this is the dawning of the age of “hilarious”!

Big smiles, small footprint. We design each of our print-on-demand pieces with the intention of creating a lifestyle brand that utilizes minimal waste and a small carbon footprint. We think that great things are worth the wait & Mother Earth agrees!
